Paul Diaz is Against The Politics of Personal Destruction

Dear Winter Springs Residents,

I’ve noticed a recent poll circulating about the importance of a candidate’s background, including any financial struggles they may have faced. This poll, posted by a fake profile called “Grace Neved,” is run by Sheila Benton, the same Sheila Benton who has a reputation for yelling at everyone and is married to Commissioner Matt Benton, my presumed opponent. Commissioner Benton has not yet filed to run and is electioneering via the politics of personal destruction.

I want to address this head-on with transparency and honesty because our community deserves to hear my full story directly.

In my mid-20s, I faced significant financial challenges, including a failed business venture that led to lawsuits and bankruptcy. These experiences were incredibly tough, but they taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, responsibility, and financial management. Like many of you, I have faced hardships and learned from them. These challenges have made me a stronger, more empathetic, and better-prepared individual to serve our community.

A Story of Growth and Responsibility

Like Dave Ramsey, who overcame financial struggles to become a trusted financial advisor, I have dedicated my career to helping others navigate their financial challenges. I am proud to be a Dave Ramsey Trusted Tax Provider, assisting individuals and businesses in achieving financial peace and stability.

Commitment to Transparency and Accountability

Transparency and integrity are cornerstones of my campaign. I believe in openly sharing my experiences and using them to guide our community toward a more prosperous and secure future. My role as the campaign treasurer for Sheriff Dennis Lemma reflects the high level of trust placed in me, demonstrating my commitment to transparency and fiscal responsibility.

Building a Stronger Community Together

Our city faces numerous challenges, from infrastructure and water management to community engagement and fiscal accountability. I am committed to addressing these issues with practical solutions and a transparent approach. I invite you to join me in building a stronger, more vibrant Winter Springs.

Thank you for your continued support, believing in the power of second chances, and valuing hard-earned lessons.

Warm regards,

Paul D. Diaz, EA, MBA
